How to research your target market!

If you think you have the next "better than sliced-bread" idea, the best place to start looking is search engines.
Yes, anyone can have a great idea but it takes a motivated individual to actually follow through and complete the tasks at hand.
Try the major search engines, with all the keywords associated with your idea and start researching your idea.
If you come up with a lot of sites with similar information do not be dismayed.
Read through any forums or blogs you come across with information relating to your idea.
Look for any online ezines, trade publications and read through them. They might all be looking for your solution.

Also, if you see some competition that's not a reason to drop your idea either. You might be able to do it differently ,better, cheaper, etc...
Or, you may also decide on a different target market, or using different angles for getting attention.

Check out the competition and see if you're ready to compete.

Best of luck to you!
